Low Histamine, Oxalate, and Lectin Side Dishes

 

  • Low Histamine Coleslaw (see recipe)
  • Wilted Arugula topped with Low Histamine "Bacon" (see recipe)
  • Mashed cauliflower: Steam cauliflower on a trivet in Instant Pot with 1 cup water and fresh garlic for 3-4 minutes.

    Remove trivet, drain water, and return cauliflower to IP.  Using an immersion blender, blend with ghee and olive oil until smooth.  Season to taste with sea salt and rosemary.  

  • Roasted Brussel sprouts
  • Steamed carrots and broccoli
  • Sautéed Asparagus
  • Sautéed Shallots
  • Salad
  • Bok Choy with Ginger and Sesame oil

  • Pressure-cooked chickpeas, then browned in avocado oil, garlic, salt, (phase 3)

    Miracle Noodles

    Chopped leeks sautéed in olive oil and butter make a delicious pasta-like dish.

    Fried cabbage red or green with lots of olive oil.  Slice the cabbage long and thin, and it will give you a fried noodle experience.
